Midway between the A90 and A92 (the scenic coastal road from Montrose to Aberdeen) the cottage accommodation is perfectly located for the City facilities you need but based within the rolling Mearns countryside to help you relax (see Map). Each cottage has its own patio and furniture where visitors are able to relax and enjoy the rural scenery. Each cottage has its own unique view of the farmland that eventually rolls over to a dramatic coastline just over the horizon.
The coast is a mixture of sandy beaches and rugged craggy rock faces surrounding natural harbours (or havens). The havens, are now small towns or villages such as Stonehaven and Johnshaven, both once central to a vibrant fishing industry, now see more pleasure craft with tourism, pubs and restaurants.
This superb holiday cottage accommodation is ideally located for visits to Aberdeen
or Montrose and Laurencekirk, the main settlement in the Howe o' the Mearns where
one of the most famous Scots, Robert Burns' father originated. The cottages are situated
